Energy Performance Certificates

All properties now require an Energy Performance Certificate before they can be sold or rented.

An Energy Performance Certificate provides an official energy rating for a property. It shows its energy efficiency and its environmental impact; it also contains recommendations for how to improve the building's energy performance.

Only accredited Domestic Energy Assessors (DEA) can produce these certificates, and a survey of your property is mandatory

Our in house DEA will visit your property and collect information on the building fabric and services. The certificate can usually be produced within 24 hours of the survey.

For properties in the SY8 area the cost is £75.00 for houses up to 3 bedrooms. Other areas and sizes of property also provided for. Discount available for more than one property.

We also provide Home Information Packs, required when any domestic property is marketed for sale. For a freehold registered property the cost is £260.00
